Yes, it's Don Jazzy again! Just less than a year since opening his night club, PoP, in Victoria Island, MavinCEO and ace music producer Don Jazzy has shut it down. Rumours have it that, the reason he shut down the club down after realizing running a music label is different from running a night club. That may be true, but not completely though.
The club, PoP, one of the rumours carried around was shut down because it wasn't making money as expected.
Heard some people will show up at the club just to take photos with him
and leave. Also, some important people will buy drinks and not pay. Well, he has shut the club down to concentrate
fully on his music label.

That is a wise decision if you ask me. It makes more sense to shut it down instead of
financing an establishment that is not making any revenue for him? That
is the best thing for him to do until he finds a way to sort the
problems out. Keeping the place open while it is bleeding him dry would
be a mistake, added to the mistake of opening a club while having NO
CLUE about nightclub biz.
If
a business venture is making less money than its consuming, shut it
down; I'm sure people will have a lot of (not so nice) things to say
about his move.
On a side note, You don't need to understand a business to own one.
You simply hire someone who understands the business and that's that. There's definitely another reason why he shut it down. Since we like to speculate, I'll add a few speculations:
1. He might be going broke himself and can't afford to infuse money or higher someone
2. He's not the sole or majority owner and got overruled
3. He's simply lost interest
