Good luck Jonathan walks into a bank to cash a cheque. As he approaches the cashier he says, 'Good morning Ma'am. Would you please cash this cheque for me?'
Cashier: 'It would be my pleasure, Sir. But could you please show me your ID?'

Jonathan: 'Truthfully, I did not bring my ID with me as I didn't think there was any need to. [Don't you know me?] I am Jonathan, the President...'

Cashier: 'Yes sir, I know who you are. But with all the regulations and monitoring of the banks because of impostors and forgers and requirements of the CBN, I must insist on seeing some ID.'

Jonathan: 'Just ask anyone here at the bank who I am and they will tell you. Everybody knows who I am.'

Cashier: 'I am sorry, sir, but these are the bank rules and I must follow them.'

Jonathan: 'I am urging you, please, cash this cheque.'

Cashier: 'Sir, here is an example of what we can do. One day, Tonto Dike came into the bank to cash a cheque without her ID. To prove herself, she started singing, the guard dog fainted and the computers went off. So we knew it was her and cashed the cheque.'

'Another time, Governor Fashola came without his ID to cash a cheque. We doubted him at first but when our dispatch rider rode in on a motorbike and he screamed, 'Arrest that bike rider,' we cashed his cheque!'

'So sir, what can you do to prove that it is you and only you, as President?'

Jonathan stands there thinking and thinking, and finally says, 'Honestly, my mind is totally blank... There is nothing that comes to my mind. I can't think of a single thing. I have absolutely no idea what to do. I just don't have a clue.'

Moment of Truth: Lil Wayne Opens Up About Health Scare: "I'mEpileptic" And “I Could’ve Died”.

Lil Wayne has disclosed the cause of seizures that
recently put him in the hospital, and they have
nothing to do with sizzurp, he says: He has epilepsy. "The bad news is I'm an epileptic, I'm prone to seizures," Wayne said yesterday when he called in to Los Angeles radio station Power 106 for his first interview since he was hospitalized earlier this month. "Like, this isn't my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh seizure. I've had a bunch of seizures, y'all just never hear about them. But this time it got real bad 'cause I had three of them in a row and on the third one, my heart rate went down to like 30 percent. Basically, I could've died, so that is why it was so serious. But the reason being for the seizures is just plain stress, no rest, overworking myself."

The rapper, who was home from the hospital in time for the release this week of his latest album, I Am Not a Human Being II, said he has seizures often enough that the people around him are experienced in dealing with them when they occur. "They already know how to handle it," he said. "Certain times I don't even go to the hospital, but this time, it was real bad because, like I said, it was three in a row, and I've never had three back to back like that.

Virginity, A Clause to Getting Married?

The other day in a cab, on my way from Victoria Island to the Lagos mainland, a conversation ensued between two people I suppose were friends. The bottom line of their conversation centered on whether it's 'divinely necessary' to marry a virgin woman or not. I chose not to contribute in their conversation-debate, even as the two sat close to me and even sought my opinion on the issue. I don't concern myself with such topics. Its plain nonsensical if you ask me.

According to one of them, "If she's not a virgin, make sure she gives you a good reason why she's not one.Trust me, from her reason you can deduce what manner of girl she is.Nothing wrong in getting married to a non-virgin babe but her reason must be convincing and genuine". He continued, "The fact is a non-virgin babe has a lot of "dots" in between and you have to connects those dots by asking questions, if you can't stress yourself to ask those question then you are safer dealing with virgins."

I was just like WTF!

Wizkid To Return To Former Music Label, EME

If everything goes according to plan, Wizkid will
soon be returning to his former music label, EME
Music Group, this is according to a reliable industry source. The source revealed to me exclusively that Wizkid and EME bosses have been going back and forth for the last couple of weeks through their lawyers trying to agree on new terms of them working together again.

"Wizkid leaving EME was just his way of pushing the bosses at the label to take him seriously and
increase his earning percentage. When he joined
EME he wasn't a star but then he became a mega
star and was making a lot of money for the label and they still didn't increase his earning percentage so he took a walk. Now they are working on a new contract that will favour Wizkid." The source said I hear in the new contract being drafted, EME will not take a dime from Wizkid's international deals.

I'm happy for the young man though. Seems a very reasonable thing to do.

marriage. You then go out to get some. Is this
cheating?

2. You Be Intimate with your bf or gf, and
occasionally you still get some outside. Remember
you're not yet legally married and thus not under
any oath not to Be Intimate if you so please. I mean if you can commit fornication with your bf or gf, why not with someone else? Isn't this hypocrisy? Is this worthy of being classified as cheating? I don't think so, in all honesty. The rules don't apply here.

Breaking: Prof Achebe is Dead!

Nigeria's literary icon and publisher of several
novels, Chinua Achebe, is dead. Mr. Achebe, 82, died in the United States where he was said to have suffered from an undisclosed ailment.

I learnt he died last night in a hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. May his soul and body find eternal rest.

Odd World: 4 year old male twins suffocate in Car at Aba.

Tragedy struck on Monday at Osisioma, a suburb of Aba, the commercial capital of Abia State when four- year-old male twins, suffocated to death inside a car parked in front of their house. The boys, Chukwuemeka and Chiemela Okechukwu, the only male children of their parents and who were in nursery school at the Stella and Maris School in the city were with their mother.

Mrs. Ngozi Okechukwu in the morning hours on that fateful day as they could not go to school for
undisclosed reasons. After a while, one of their
pregnant neighbours went into labour and Mrs.
Okechukwu who is a nurse, was called in for
assistance. When the mother of the twins saw the
condition of her pregnant neighbour, she arranged and took her to hospital and allowed the twins whose elder siblings went to school, to play with other children in the compound.

However, as the twins were playing, nobody knew
when they left the compound and went to where
some cars were displayed for sale beside the Enugu/Port Harcourt Expressway, near the Osisioma Junction. Daily Sun gathered that the two kids opened and entered one of the cars on display, unnoticed and locked themselves in under the heat of the scorching sun. When at about 1 pm the elder sisters came back from school and could not see their younger brothers who they knew did not go to school that day, they raised the alarm.

Their father, Levi Okechukwu Onwusoamaonye from Ahiaba Ubi in Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area, who had gone to work was alerted and he came home. A search party was said to have been immediately raised, which combed the area but to no avail. It was around 4 pm that the children were seen inside the car already dead through suffocation. They were rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors confirmed them dead.

My heart go out to the family of the deceased kids. Its a pain to lose a loved one. Its more pain to lose two, more as they were just kids. Adeiu!

Bodyart Picture of Messi Surfaces Online: Dedicates Tattoo to Son, Thiago.

The Barcelona star's brother posted an image of the bodyart on Twitter, which was inked just three days prior to Argentina's World Cup qualifier with Venezuela
Lionel Messi has revealed a brand new tattoo on his left calf, which has been created as a tribute to his young son.

The body art, which depicts a small pair of hands and the name Thiago in simple black ink, was photographed by the Barcelona star's brother Matias before being uploaded to Twitter.

Matias had revealed earlier this week the pair had planned to get new tattoos, and he released pictures of them both on social media networks on Wednesday evening.

Messi is currently on international duty with Argentina, and is set to captain the side in Friday's World Cup qualifier with Venezuela.

Regardless of the touching tribute to his young son, the 25-year-old has likely made national boss Alejandro Sabella a little nervous prior to the match, given that the rather large tattoo is periously close to the most magical of left feet.

I Can't Say For Sure If Nigerians Are Ready To Tackle The Issue Of Security In The Country.

First of all, I just finished watching the report of the visit of the Federal Government's official delegation to Kano State to commiserate with the victims, people and government. The team was led by Minister of Interior, Abba Moro and comprised of Defence Chiefs, the Inspector General of Police, Minister of Police Affairs, Navy Capt. Caleb Olubaolade and Minister of State of Defence, Erelu Olushola Obada. They visited the victims, the scene of the bombing and the Governor.

However, what really caught my eye was Erelu
Obada's demeanour or is it posture. She wore a
black gown also called Jalabia and had a head scarf on with dark goggles- nothing wrong with that but when the team were shown walking, it became obvious to me that the lady was scared- very scared! The Minister was leaning close to the military officer beside her and pratically running to catch-up with their pace. It was like she was thinking: 'if anything will go wrong, I won't be caught out.'

The questions I have are: at a time when Nigeria is under constant attack by Boko Haram, do we need a Minister overseeing our armed forces that is scared? What does this portend for National
Security? I am sure Erelu Obada is not the only
senior government official within our security
network that is feeling scared, how can these people deliver security to Nigerians? *I shake my head!*

Like Another Day.

Yes, today went like every other day of my life; started purposefully and ended with another vision for a better tomorrow. Yes again, a vision like every other.

The momentum at which life throws itself at my feet gets bewildering and astounding, at least for this last couple of days. I get to think things through a little more than I necessarily do and get to understand things clearer, beyond the norm. To that, let's just say I'm growing fuller in mind, health and stature. Thinking rightly can increase ones status; both on the physical realm and intellectual front. Like Descartes observed, cognition presupposes awareness.

To be of the know of a particular subject matter, the thinking thing must first cast away all traces of obliviousness. He's aware of the loose intricacies of that, which he tries to decipher. That so much for today, the 21st day of the month of March, in the year 2013.

Been a while you read from me?

Hello my dear blog readers. I know its been a while you all read from my new. My apologies to that!

The reason for a halt or hiatus was born from the fact some SEO spammers hijacked this blog to promote spam links and more. At first, it was okay but it got unbearable by the day as i get tonnes of spam comments that i needed to weed out on a daily basis. It took time to do and got tiring. Hence, I had to find a way to stop those junk blog comments in view of sanitizing the blog entirely. I appreciate your understanding on this.

And for those who sent in mails to this regard, i take this opportunity to appreciate your concerns.
