Picture This: Porsche panamera GT as an official car in Nigeria?

Wow! Nigerians sure know how to live big. The picture posted herein went viral yesterday or so and a lot of comments poured in as to whether or not, the car belonged to a government official, and if so, was such a car a necessity?

Someone remarked; "I don't think it's a registered official car. The plate number may have been swapped with a private one just to deter policemen from stopping the ride or seeking 'egunje'/settlement - this is done especially
if someone wants to embark on a long journey or an area known for too many police post... I know cuz I've done it before #Wise move"

It may well be an official car the number plate says Presidency. I have seen many luxury cars and SUVs all supposedly government rides. Apparently no consideration is given whether the types of cars purchased with tax payers money are ostentatious or not, modesty in this regard is practically dead.

The price of the SUV is somewhere in the region of $85,000 which in Naira translates to N13,600,000. Wow?
