Igbos Feel Betrayed As GEJ Offers Amnesty To Boko Haram.

Several reactions have trailed the recent amnesty bid thrown at the members of the dreaded Boko Haram extremist group by the GEJ led FGN. For most people, the bid shows a senseless, and incapable government that has little or no ability to combat social crimes and security challenges in the face of the travesties that be-worm the state of the nation. The Igbo ethnicity personally feel angst the most, and some have taken it personal, since the ethnic group somehow happen to be the most hit of the terror victims. No fewer than 5,000 people have been killed by the incessant acts of terror that have been dished out by the terror group known as Boko Haram.

Some Igbo voices have been noted as seen below:

# According to one Ifeduba; " it's clear that Mr President took for granted the support of the igbos. You cant grant amnesty to people who have killed our brethren." His point owes to the coming elections for next year; oweing to the premise that, GEJ might infact be trying hard to score a cheap political point by garnering supports from the North.

# A politician was granted amnesty for looting. Very soon kidnappers and armed robbers would be granted amnesty. I need to start my own terror group now maybe i would be granted amnesty Is the government lazy in fighting crimes?

#  GEJ is the worst person to rule a country. Any group of pple can start killing nd dey will later give them amnesty. I weep for nigeria!

Footnotes:
Some people can whine making devil known never to have done anything good before to feel remorse and repent! Wonder why they see everyone as a betrayal. Am not supporting the amnesty, but when these people were planting bombs everywhere, you were complaining of igbo killing, now that he decided to pacify the terrorist to stop killing you, you are still complaining.  What do you want exactly?

GEJ may have taken a silly decision by this very singular decision in the eyes of an onlooker who may see this as a political calculation to woo the North and easy some pressures from the opposition. However, I will not cry for justice when the war has not ended. The Igbos have refused to relocate or at least go back home. Some sleep with one eye open not knowing if their siblings will live to see tomorrow. The dead are gone but the living got to be assured that they will see tomorrow and lead a better life to enable them mourn their dead and rehabilitate themselves in this war-front called Nigeria.
